Welcome to The Soul’s Retreat! This is our debut practice shared today, the first Sunday of March. We meet twice a month for a virtual meditation practice together via Zoom. Each week I’ll be uploading the recordings from our practices together (aside from the participant sharing).
Our practice begins with a teaching/topic followed by a guided meditation practice and community connection through sharing our experience (sharing is always optional). The recordings will include an introduction and closing recorded post-practice. I invite you to join us for our live practices each month, I’d love to share this with you in real time!
In an effort to bring our practice off the yoga mat and into a holistic way of living and learning our experience, I’ve created this space to connect and deepen our practice together.
The first Sunday of the month we will tie in Yoga Sutras or the Eight Limbs of Yoga into our monthly theme. The second practice of the month will bring in a Buddhist teaching weaving together a holistic practice, connecting the body, mind and spirit. Asana, our physical yoga practice is just one piece of the wholeness of our practice. I hope that you’ll join me on this journey of self-discovery and study.
Our monthly themes will be inspired by the Dharma Healing Practice which brings together Reiki and Recovery Dharma teachings. If you are curious about this practice you can find the podcast episodes and information below.
